WAEC: Kano merges 33 boarding schools into 12 centers

Kano Focus reports that Executive Secretary Kano State Secondary
Schools Management Board (KSSSMB) Bello Shehu gave the
directive at a press conference on Thursday.
Mr Shehu said the arrangement is to ensure adequate safety and
well-being of the students.
He however said students of the 161 government-owned day
secondary schools will write the WAEC final exams in their own
schools.
Mr Shehu listed the 12 WAEC centres for boarding students as
follows:
GGUC Kachako, GGSS Sumaila, and GGSS Albasu are to meet at
Government Girls Unity College Kachako.
GGSS Kura, GGSS Madobi, and GGC Kano are to meet at
Government Girls Collage Kano GGAC Goron Dutse, GGASS Danbatta, and GGASS Tudun Wada are
to meet at Government Girls Arabic Collage Goron Dutse
GGC Dala and GGSS Kwa at to write their examination at
Government Girls Collage Dala
GGSS Shekara, GGSS ‘Yar Gaya, and GGSS Kabo are to meet at
Government Girls Secondary School Shekara.
GGSS Jogana, GGC Gezawa, and GGSS Jambaki are to meet at
Government Girls Secondary School Jogana
GSS Karaye, GSS Kafin Mai Yaki, GC Tudun Wada, and GSS
Kwankwaso are to write their examination at Government Secondary
School Karaye
GSS Sumaila, GSS Rano, GASS Tsangaya, and GSS Ajingi are to
meet at Government Secondary School Sumaila
GSS Danbatta, GSS Bichi, GSS Bagwai, and GSCS Wudil are to meet
at Government Secondary School Danbatta
