President Muhammadu Buhari has directed the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria, NAHCON, to build on all the successes it recorded so far by continuous provision of qualitative and diligent services to Nigerian pilgrims, both in Nigeria and in Saudi Arabia.
The president gave the directive while flagging off inaugural flight for this year’s Hajj today in Abuja.
President Muhammadu Buhari who was represented by the Minister of state for Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Zubairu Dada, however, commended NAHCON for her diligence in ensuring a smooth sail during the preparation stages of this year’s Hajj operation.
The president also called on pilgrims to be good ambassadors of Islam and the Nigerian State in the holy land by obeying all laws, rules and regulations of the host country.
He enjoined them to pray for peace, development and progress of the country while in the holy land.
