Some of the communities had earlier voiced their grievances via a local radio programme on the mountains of the refuse in their respective communities as a result of REMASAB’s inability to evacuate the refuse for close 10 months gave a sigh of relief now as they were rid of the menace after airing the programme earlier this month.

A member of one of the communities, Alhaji Sani Sule told this paper that it took them several months reporting to REMASAB on situation of the refuse in his community without result.

Adding that, but when he and other residents of his community were contacted by Freedom Radio’s reporter for Dan Duma programme where they lodged their predicament living with the mountain of refuse, only then REMASAB found it necessary to rid them withe refuse.
