Improved Performance by Kano Pillars fc under Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf administration

In its resolve to boost Sporting activities in Kano state, the government under the leadership of Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf administration is rendering the necessary support to Kano Pillars fc to enable the club excel in its outings at home and away matches.

This magnanimity by the Governor through the supervising Commissioner for Sports Hon Hamza Safiyanu has gone along way in improving the performance by Kano Pillars fc especially from July to December this year.

The desired attention by the Governor to the Sai Masu Gida team has enable them to successfully participate and win various football competition during home and away marches. This include the Super 8 League Competition in Delta state where the Pillars fc emerged as runners up which gained the club the desired promotion to the Premier Division.

The club also participated in Sharu Ahlan Pre- season soccer Championship in Bauchi.The aim was just to test the ability and capability of our newly recruited players for registration to the Premier League. Within the same period Kano Pillars fc had participated at the Sharu Ahlan Football Competition and competed among other clubs as Katsina United, Kano Selected, Gombe United and Niger Tornadoes, proudly at the end of the Competition, Kano Pillars fc emerged the Champions.

Similarly, from September to November, 2023, Kano Pillars had participated in the NPFL competition at Home and away matches.Although the club won and lost some of the away matches, it has successfully won all its 7 Home matches with a single goaless draw.

Kano Pillars fc under leadership Board executive chairman Babangida Umar little And Board secretary General comrade sani Ibrahim coach is now preparing for its away match this week, thursday, 21st December, 2023, at Ahmadu Bello stadium, Kaduna.
With all the successes recorded, Kano Pillars fc is proud with our team spirit which ninety five percent are Kano indigenes and the club is wholly owned by Kano state Government since its formation in
1990(33yrs) ago.
