Kano State Governor, Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf has urged Special Advisers to enhance their provision of positive advice, recognizing the pivotal role of their contributions in fostering good governance and delivering high-quality services to the populace of the state.

This was contained in a statement issued by the governor’s spokesperson, Sanusi Bature Dawakin Tofa, on Thursday.

In a statement , Alhaji Yusuf Said this during an Iftar gathering with the Special Advisers appointed by his administration at the Kano Government House.

Alhaji Yusuf emphasized the government’s unwavering dedication to furnishing them with suitable office accommodations, with plans already in motion to repurpose specific sections of Abubakar Rimi Television (ARTV) to create additional offices for the seamless execution of official duties.

The Governor charged the Special Advisers with the responsibility of presenting programs to the government that directly impact the lives of individuals in their respective localities for thorough consideration and subsequent implementation.

Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf disclosed that his administration has devised strategies to finalize projects initiated during Kwankwaso’s tenure but left incomplete by the previous government, particularly focusing on the development of five-kilometer roads, road networks, water supply projects, among others.

He issued a strong call to all political appointees to actively supervise the free Ramadan feeding programs at designated centers across the state, aiming to address any obstacles that may impede the efficient operation of the initiative.

Furthermore, he took the opportunity to appeal to philanthropists and affluent members of society to extend assistance to the less privileged in the spirit of the holy month of Ramadan, seeking to alleviate the impact of economic hardships in the nation.

The governor implored the Special Advisers and the people of Kano to fervently pray for enduring peace, stability, and prosperity in the state and the nation as a whole.
