Deputy President of the Senate, Donates New Coaster Bus, Motorcycle to Players of Barau FC

The Deputy President of the Senate, Senator Dr. Barau Jibrin Maliya CON, has donated a brand-new bus coaster, one motorcycle to each of the players and management of the Barau Football Club.

In a statement signed by Ahmad Hamisu Gwale, Barau FC Media Officer on Monday, the entire management and players visited the Barau Jibrin at the National Assembly, Abuja to celebrate the promotion of the Nigerian National League NNL for the team.

Also, the essence of the visit from management and players, is to present the trophy to the financier and the founder of the club Barau Jibrin.

It recalls that on Sunday, Barau FC defeated Yoca Crocodiles in a penalty shootout that ended 3-2 in favour of the Maliya Boys.

“Thank God, if I could remember last year like this. We are here to see how we start NLO Preparation, but now you are coming to present me with the NNL Promotion”

“I hope, Insha Allah, by next year, we will all converge here to celebrate our promotion to the Nigerian Football Premier League, and you will go international. By Grace, this club will be the pride of all Nigerians”, according to Barau Jibrin.

He added that, “when I established this club, my intention was to make it a global brand. I informed the management and the players of my plans to strengthen the club”.

The Deputy President of the Senate, Barau Jibrin, has donated a brand-new bus coaster, one motorcycle to each of the players and a N5,000,000 bonus to the management and players.

Barau Jibrin, also assured that he would continue to support all activities that would make the youth be engaged and contribute to the development of the country.

In his remarks the Chairman of Barau FC Alhaji Shitu Chanji thanked Barau Jibrin for his support to the club, he also assured that the team will do possible to gain NPFL Promotion next year.
